Delete your account.
You can delete your Palmye account yourself, from your account page, whenever you want. This page explains how, what deleting takes away, and what stays behind.
How
Three steps, from your own account.
Deletion happens inside your account, so the request is provably yours. No one can delete an account on your behalf, and you never have to write in and wait for us.
With your e-mail address and password, or with the Google or Apple account you opened it with.
Open your account page
The button is at the bottom, under the list of devices you’re signed in on.
Confirm
Before anything is removed, we tell you what the account still holds — a wallet balance, an eSIM you could still use. If your account has a password, you type it here.
What goes
What deleting removes.
- Your name and your e-mail address, from the account.
- Your password and every connected sign-in method, Google and Apple included.
- Every session on every device — you're signed out everywhere.
- Any wallet balance you still hold and any eSIM still usable. Neither can be given back.
What stays
What we have to keep, and why.
Orders, payments, invoices and wallet movements stay: tax, accounting and consumer law oblige us to keep the record of a sale, and our payment provider's books have to agree with ours. Each order and payment keeps the name and e-mail address it was made under, and each payment the IP address it came from: tax law asks for the customer's name, and a bank can raise a card dispute months after a payment. The account's name, e-mail address, country and the sign-ins still on record when it is deleted (addresses, devices and times) are kept too, encrypted and opened only by our staff with a recorded reason, for as long as the law requires, then deleted. Two smaller things stay as well — the record of the legal texts you confirmed, which can hold the address you used at the time, and any support request you opened, which we erase sooner if you ask.
Before you do it
It can’t be undone.
Deleting does not erase every trace of the account. Its name, e-mail address and sign-in methods are removed from it and it stays under its identifier, so the records above still belong to something, while the name and e-mail address stay on your orders and payments and an encrypted copy of the account is kept as described above. A deleted account can’t be reopened. Your e-mail address is released, so you can open a new account with it later — that will be a new account, holding none of the old one's history.
The privacy notice says how long each kind of record is kept after an account goes.
